The 2018 edition of the Mr. GH Masters Championship comes off at the Multi Purpose Court at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 1, 2018.
According to Arnold Aryee, the main organizer and sponsor, the programme is in two parts on the day, comprising Body Posing and the search for the strongest man in Ghana.
He said the events would start at 1pm when the Mr. GH Strongest Man comes on with competitions like, Bench Press, Squats and Dead Lift.
He noted that at 6pm, the Mr. GH Masters Championship comes on with the Body Building Open also in the divisions of Heavyweight, Middleweight and Lightweight.
He expressed that there would be Guest Poses and Men’s Physique Open to see the best man with the well and best defined body.
He said it has not been easy getting sponsorship, but wish to thank Maximum Gym at Dansoman and a few friends who have come to support in coming up with the programme. He called on all body builders to attend the show, where they would come together to solicit support from the government and other agencies to promote body building and weight lifting.
