In a high-stakes showdown between the current and former World No.1s, Wang Chuqin delivered a commanding performance, defeating Lin Shidong in 4-1 (11-5, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6) to lift the WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 Men’s Singles trophy.
Lin struck with a fiery second-game response, levelling the match at 1-1, but Wang never let up, tightening his grip with calculated aggression and bulletproof consistency. Lin, who has been in phenomenal form this season, pushed Wang to his limits, but Wang was relentless in claiming his throne in Chongqing, proving once again that he thrives when the stakes are at their highest.
