Shahin Aliyev, the founder and chairman of the “Eternal Union” Youth Public Union, represented Azerbaijan at the “GLOBAL PEACE | FOOD SECURITY SUMMIT,” an initiative of ACCORD, which has 28 years of experience collaborating closely with the United Nations (UN), the African Union (AU), and Regional Economic Communities (REC).
In his speech, he first highlighted Azerbaijan’s peace-oriented stance, its position during the presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement, and the upcoming COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan. He then presented Azerbaijan’s perspective on the summit’s theme of Food Security.
It is worth noting that representatives from Uganda, Ethiopia, Bolivia, India, Panama, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Egypt, Mexico, and the USA also spoke at the event.
