Springfield Energy to pursue Glencore case in Ghana

Springfield Energy has said it will pursue a legal case against Glencore in Ghana after losing its case in the UK, local media reported Sunday.

A UK court ruled in favour of Glencore in a contract dispute between the two companies last week. “We strongly believe this is a matter of Ghana law and consequently a matter for Ghana’s courts,” The Telegraph quoted a spokesperson as saying.
