Young budding musician Una Dayona and other rising stars in the entertainment industry have commended the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) and the Trust Sports Emporium for coming up with the Bukom Fist of Fury Boxing League and Championship Fight Nights at the Bukom Boxing Arena from October 12, 2018.

Doyona who performed at the launch of ‘BoxBiz’ said some of them been exposure and they thank the organisers of the event, especially Moses Foh Amoaning, the Technical Consultant and Sammy Heywood Okine aka General One, the Deputy Communications Director of the GBA for their inspiration.

Moses Foh Amoaning, a former GBA president said the whole idea of the boxing league is to sustain a regular scientific source of producing champions in both the amateur and professional ranks.
He said pupils who have talent for boxing are going to be groomed and educated to rise into well trained and exposed amateurs who will compete for the nation at international competitions like the Commonwealth and Olympic Games.

According to Foh Amoaning, the boxers would be given some allowances and embark on international tours when necessary.
He expressed that there would be a vvip gravy train moving to visit the former presidents of Ghana and the sitting president Nana Akuffo Addo and some chiefs in the Greater Accra Region who love boxing.
He hinted that the boxing league would be spiced with the music, fashion and food of Ghanaian origin and Africa descent to entice more guests and patrons.
He said top artistes like Sarkodie, Amanzeba Nat Brew, Shatta Wale, Wulomoi band, Papa Row will lead the pack of musicians, while Bozoma Clothing and Gem Afrik will lead the designers and models.
Some of budding entertainers who graced the BoxBiz launch at the MJ Grand Hotel are Una Dayona, Mr. Wise, King Dauda, Gameli, Ras Bonbon and others. They have promised to do their best on the Road show Carnivals scheduled for Mamprobi, Korle Gonno, Chorkor and James Town on October 5 and 6 respectively.
