International Relations Community of Iğdır University Outdoors Traditional Cultural Trip Programme

By delreport

As the International Relations Community of Iğdır University, we have officially launched our Traditional Cultural Trip Program. The first stop of this year’s journey was Nakhchivan, one of the important cities of the Turkic world.

As part of the trip, we visited the cultural and historical landmarks of Nakhchivan and toured Nakhchivan State University, where we had the opportunity to meet with our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters. Witnessing the rich history and culture of Nakhchivan and experiencing the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood firsthand was deeply meaningful for us.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our Community President, Ms. Fatma Zehra Oğuz, who played a major role in the realization of this meaningful event and supported us at every stage. She shared the following remarks about the project:

“Our aim was to raise cultural awareness among the youth of the Turkic world and to further strengthen our brotherhood. Nakhchivan became the first step of this journey for us.

We would also like to thank our Community Advisor, Dr. Eyüp Sarıkol, who has always stood by us and guided us throughout. In addition, we are grateful to all the academics, students, and volunteer supporters from Iğdır who supported us.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the esteemed Consul General, Mr. Asip Kaya, the flag bearer of the Republic of Türkiye in Nakhchivan, for his valuable support.”
