Transformed from a former beer distribution centre, sustainable luxury is at the heart of the adult-only The Stay Warehouse, a design-led hideaway set in olive-tree lined gardens cocooning an outside heated pool. Wrapped in reclaimed materials, zero trees were felled during construction, and recycled materials were used including wood and bricks from ancient Anatolian houses repurposed into walls and upcycled into bespoke furniture.
This rustic-chic retreat offers guests 24 spacious and calming suites, bathed in muted tones with super king-size beds, blackout curtains and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in rain showers, Acqua di Parma amenities and bamboo toothbrushes. Numark record players – with a curated vinyl selection – slick Harman Kardon Bluetooth speakers and well-stocked SMEG minibars add contemporary flair. All suites have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gardens or pool, and some have private patios.
A vibrant cultural hub, art is the first thing that greets guests as they enter with a life casting by Seungmo Park (pictured, right) and a diverse collection of curated local and international artwork showcased throughout.
